Dailey Hill Baptist Church sits on Wait Road which is a dirt road that leads from Drewry to Reed Road. Some maps give it a Dotelle Address and others Drewry. I have also seen it named the Dotelle Church. 31.467719, -87.262524
The best information I can come up with this old church was founded in the late 1800’s but no definite date. I have also heard from more than one source that it closed down in either 1959 or 1960.
Different people have said that a Mrs. Addie Bush was the last surviving member or when she passed that ended the Dailey Hill Baptist Church.
Dailey Hill church normally had about 15 to 20 members…
Services were held every 4th Sunday and one of the pastors was Rev N A Davis…
