At this visit I was fortunate enough to meet a Mr. Wilkerson who was a resident of the community who gave me information on the building and granted me entrance into the building.
The building was built in the 1890’s It was added on to in the 1960’s and Air Conditioning was added in the 1970’s. The Sanctuary is for the most part the same as when it was first constructed.
