“On August 25, 1890 my great grandfather, Oliver Perry Kelly, deeded Block 18 to the Methodist Church at Pine Hill. On February 3, 1894 there was another deed made for Block 18 to the Methodist Church at Pine Hill for $5.00.”
There is a cemetery out from Pine Hill called Enon. The Church was established there on April 24, 1847. It dissolved the later part of 1932 or the first of 1933. There was a church started in Pine Hill in 1894, in Sunny South in 1921 and Oak Grove in 1924. Enon dried up. People started going to church closer to where they lived. If you will look on Facebook I have a page called “Friends of Enon Cemetery, Enon Cemetery Road, Pine Hill, Alabama”. It has everything I could find out about the church.
