Deed Book 45, pg. 803.John Monroe Stacey and his wife, Sarah, donated 2 acres for the establishment of a church and school in the NW1/4 of Section 8, Township 5N, Range 6E, Monroe County, AL. J.M. Jones, witness, and J.P. Frye, Justice of Peace. Today, Pleasant Hill Church is located at the intersection of Bear Creek Road and Shiloh Road. Grimes School no longer exists.
