Previously named Pineville Baptist Church
Founded in the 1800’s. This is the oldest black congregation in the community it serves.
Around 1947-1949 several members branched from Old Pineville Baptist Church and formed other congregations in the community.
The church was relocated in the 1970’s because of the need for it to be more accessible.
Sylvester Missionary Baptist Church is located on AL. Hwy. 21 North of Beatrice.
